What We Offer
Tune ups
At Bike Werks, we know that mobile repair and service is not a “one size fits all” process, so we offer three levels of mobile tune-ups: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. The first thing we do is assess your bike and show you what we’ve found, then we recommend the proper tune-up based on what your bike needs. Our van is equipped with the tools, parts, cleaners, and lubricants needed to make your bike perform at its best.
Builds
At Bike Werks, our mechanics have built every kind of bike imaginable. Hybrids, Mountain, Road, Kids’ bikes, E-bikes, 3-wheelers, and more. We go over the brake and shifting systems, lubricate what needs lubrication, check wheels for trueness and torque every fastener. Once the bike is built, we adjust the saddle and bars for a proper fit. We even offer accessories like kickstands, bells, bottle cages, locks, lights, and saddlebags.
A-la-carte services
At Bike Werks, we got our start by having a booth at local Farmers Markets. Need a derailleur adjustment? …a brake adjustment? …brake pads replaced? …a cable replaced? …got a flat tire? No need to leave your bike at a shop when you can just swing by the local Farmers Market for walk-up bike repair service. Check our locations to find the participating Farmers Market near you.
Online Bike Purchases
If the cost of fixing the bike is greater than what it’s worth, online bike retailers bring great value. Consultation of bike type, size, and the price range is free. Bike Werks will build, tune and follow up after break in.
Flat Repair
For some folks, a flat tire is not a simple fix. We’re the solution. Bike Werks will fix a flat for just $15, plus the price of a tube.

- F&R wheel truing / tire inflation. Wheels dialed in in truing stand tightening and loosening spokes to assure wheels are straight and strong.
- Drive Train Cleaning & Lube (remove and clean in parts washer)
- F&R derailleur adjustment
- F&R brake adjustment
- Lubricate inside cable housings
- Bottom bracket, headset, hub adjustment
- Frame & wheel cleaning & polishing **
- Safety check (tighten all fasteners)
- Lube chain, derailleur cables and all derailleur pivots
- Test Ride
Silver Tune-up (our most popular) – $150 (Clean/Repack ball bearings extra, Parts extra)
- Free Assessment – price quote before proceeding with service
- F&R wheel cleaning and truing / tire inflation. Wheels dialed in, in truing stand tightening and loosening spokes to assure wheels are straight and strong.
- With wheels off the bike, detail frame and apply protectant wax
- Disconnect all cables from cable stops and lubricate inside derailleur housing and brake housing
- Lubricate derailleur pivots and brake pivots
- Reinstall clean, true wheels
- F&R derailleur adjustment
- F&R brake adjustment
- Lubricate shifters and chain
- Safety Check (tighten all fasteners)
- Test Ride
Bronze Tune-up – $75

Trip Charge
Our goal is to provide excellent work at fair prices. This has resulted in hundreds of satisfied customers. Part of an excellent bike repair experience is having no surprises when it comes time to pay. We always discuss repair options and quote a price before doing any work. The goal is a win-win transaction.
We come to your home by appointment. For each appointment, we charge a base trip charge of $25. If you have an e-bike, there’s also a $25 e-bike surcharge. There are no minimums or trip fees for work done at any of the Farmers Markets that we do. We are always reviewing and refining Bike Werks’ operations and policies to make the bike repair/service experience a good one. Any comments or suggestions are always considered and appreciated.
